deep love for people and the nature that surrounds their home in Vancouver,

MEET KATHI:

A visit to my sister in a small Canadian prairie town changed my life. Recently divorced and a single parent, I was unsure about my future in Vancouver. My sister suggested we open a store together, an idea we had often discussed.

A year later, I moved to her town and began my entrepreneurial journey. After surviving two recessions, I wrote my first business plan during a government-sponsored course. Eight years later, we sold the business, and I returned to Vancouver.

I opened another store in Vancouver, but six weeks later, a fire destroyed it. Undeterred, I worked for an import company for four years before starting my own wholesale business. For the next 15 years, I manufactured and operated this company.

Seeking a change, I spent six months compiling my business knowledge. I then began writing business plans for small businesses in Vancouver, supporting other entrepreneurs.

A serious illness forced me to step back and focus on my health. During this time, I created an emotional empowerment community, helping others deal with anxiety, stress, and overwhelm using five daily pillars.

Now, I'm back to writing business plans. I'm committed to supporting business owners with a seven-step system that clarifies their vision and provides a solid foundation.

KATHI MEETS A BEAR

My husband and I often visited a cabin on a beautiful lake surrounded by forest. One early morning, I was writing on the deck, overlooking the lake. I noticed movement near the cabin but didn't look up.

When I finally turned, I found myself face-to-face with a large black bear. We were at eye level since the deck had no railing. Surprisingly, I felt no fear.

The sun made his fur shine with a deep blue-black color. I said, "You are so beautiful." He looked at me for a few moments before standing to leave.

Suddenly realizing how large he was, I slowly backed toward the cabin door. We kept our eyes on each other until he disappeared around the corner.

That unforgettable moment of writing at the lake will stay with me forever.
